I recently went suit shopping for my sister's wedding, looking for something which is flattening for my frame and suitable for a summer wedding. Here's what I bought.
Suit
Shirt
Tie
Pocket Square
Being of a 'slimmer' build, I opted for their skinny fit (with a one-button coat) which is more fitted around the waist as well as having narrower sleeves and lapels. It only has one button on the cuff, as opposed to the tradional four, and no buttonhole on the lapel for your boutonniere (slightly frustrating). This particular suit also has no real pocket flaps although you should never show the flaps anyway, let alone use them as real pockets.
I'm happy with the shade which worried me at first as I thought it would be too dark. The suit is light but sturdy enough to support my frame and posture. A soft lining inside, coupled with the airy construction makes for a comfortable experience, even in warmer conditions.
Now I need to see whether it can withstand my dance moves.
